The Water Netserv Plan (Part A) is our key strategic infrastructure planning document that supports regional and local planning and guides the delivery of infrastructure to facilitate growth and development in the region.
It outlines and communicates how Urban Utilities will provide water and sewerage services to our existing customers, and a commitment to provide for future generations, informing the community on what we will do to provide for population growth, while maintaining safe, secure and reliable water and sewerage services.
The plan provides customers, developers, shareholders, regulators and industry with a clear direction on our planning, infrastructure investment and services for the next 20 years.

The maps spatially represent the planned delivery of trunk infrastructure for supplying water and wastewater services for 20 years for each of our five shareholder councils which are: Brisbane City Council, Ipswich City Council, Scenic Rim Regional Council, Lockyer Valley Regional Council and Somerset Regional Council.
Detailed information on each infrastructure element is available on the maps and includes estimated timing of delivery and the establishment cost of the project.
Data is sourced from the Water Netserv Plan Schedule 8 – Schedule of Works. The spatial information is updated regularly in accordance with the South-East Queensland Water (Distribution and Retail Restructuring) Act 2009 and should be interpreted in conjunction with the Water Netserv Plan (Part A).
